Tasks Required:
1.) Managing Editor
The managing editor must coordinate the various aspects of the publishing project, which includes typist, set-up, copy editor, advertising, and mailing. The managing editor receives and approves all articles for publishing and approves the final version of the publication.
2.) Typist
Receives all of the articles in various formats and types them into a computer file for entering into the Newletter.
3.) Set-up Person
Enters all of the articles, pictures, and advertising into the newletter.
4.)Copy Editor
Reviews the final copy for completeness, omissions, and errors in grammar before the newletter is sent to the printer.
5.) Advertising
Sells the advertising that is used in the newletter. (The money derived from the advertising is used to pay for the publication of the Newletter.) The person collects and forwards the advertising logos that are printed in the Newletter.
6.) Distribution Manager
This person is responsible for placing the address labels on the Newletters and placing them into the mail. The person must also recruit helpers for this task, which requires a number of people in order to finish the task within the time allotted.
