St. Lorenz Youth Ministry Mission Statement
“The St. Lorenz Youth Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry for supporting the diverse spiritual needs of the youth and their families. Activities and programs will focus on relationship building, first with their Savior Jesus Christ and then with their parents, family members*, and one another. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we will facilitate outreach, service to God and the community, and strengthening the spiritual walk of our youth.”

"With a budget as large as St. Lorenz has, what possible difference can my offering make?"
"Can’t we have the St. Lorenz Foundation pay most of our expenses?"
"It seems as if St. Lorenz is always ‘running in the red’ with our Operating Fund. Why is it, then, that we always seem to have money for ‘luxury’ items like electronic sign boards, new buildings in the Churchgrove and video monitors in the church?"
“Who determines how Operating Fund monies are spent?”
- Personnel Costs
- Utilities and Insurance
- Program Expenses
Have I Got a Deal For You!!! On October 24th we will leave for Guatemala to continue the construction we began last October on a new Sanctuary at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in San Marcos. After a week of good food, cool weather, great accommodations, and even better servant opportunities, you will return home on November 1st blessed by the Lord through your work for His Kingdom. Call Pastor Fitz @ 652-6141 for more info.
Each week we will highlight a different ministry at St. Lorenz. To have your ministry included, please submit information to
