St. Lorenz Youth Ministry Mission Statement
“The St. Lorenz Youth Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry for supporting the diverse spiritual needs of the youth and their families. Activities and programs will focus on relationship building, first with their Savior Jesus Christ and then with their parents, family members*, and one another. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we will facilitate outreach, service to God and the community, and strengthening the spiritual walk of our youth.”

Thank you to all of you who served as Tour Guides in the Church, Museum and Log Cabin during th Summer Music Festival Days. It is truly a blessing to share our Christian Heritage with the visitors. We praise God for this opportunity.
September 9th and 10th we will be landscaping at the parking lot at church. Volunteers are needed to assist with this project. We will be starting at 4:00 pm each day. You are welcome to come at a later time if 4:00 pm is too early for you. Please bring a shovel and/or rake.
Looking for adult volunteers to watch kids during MOPS meetings 1-2 Friday's a month. If interested call Amy Locke at 777-2502.
Our Physical Education teacher, Karen Bender, is looking for adults to help with gym class for grades 1-5. There is no physical activity necessary or knowledge of sports needed to help in this position. There are many students in the gym at the same time and help is needed to help the PE teacher supervise them during their gym activities.
A Honduras Medical/Evangelism Mission Trip scheduled for February 6-14, 2009 will be organizing soon. All ages, high school and older, are welcome. If interested, or know someone interested contact Dave Auernhamer for details at 652-2283.
Saginaw Habitat for Humanity will preserve, update, and upgrade exteriors of homes and their yards in a 15-block area near Covenant HealthCare on Saginaw's west side. The dates for our inaugural NIP project will be July 25 - August 1 (except Sunday), from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Celebrations will be August 1 at noon in Bliss Park.
