St. Lorenz Youth Ministry Mission Statement
“The St. Lorenz Youth Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry for supporting the diverse spiritual needs of the youth and their families. Activities and programs will focus on relationship building, first with their Savior Jesus Christ and then with their parents, family members*, and one another. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we will facilitate outreach, service to God and the community, and strengthening the spiritual walk of our youth.”

 Jesus set a perfect example of looking after others who are hurting or need help. He also showed his disciples about caring and supporting for each other, praying together and learning about God. ChristCare Small Group Ministry strives to do the same by encouraging, equipping and living out the scriptures. Anybody can know God’s Word, but a disciple lives it out.
 ChristCare Small Group Ministry is people praying together, growing in God’s Word, providing mutual support, and reaching out to others. Wherever you are on your faith journey, ChristCare will help you stretch and grow.
ChristCare Small Group Ministry is asking for you to pray for our Leaders in training and our Equippers who are going away this Friday through Sunday on a retreat. Please pray for good health and safe travel for all.
ChristCare Small Group Ministry is focused on four components: community building and care (getting to know and care for members in your ChristCare group), biblical equipping (studying God’s Word in a small group), prayer and worship (coming closer to God), and missional service (working together as a small group to reach out to someone else who needs care and support).
Calling all Moms - The Vine Ministry is starting up for the school year on Monday, September 15th at 9:00 am in the Heritage Room. We are honored and excited to have our first guest speaker "Brenda Sievert" talking about "Mean Moms".
Please join us this Wednesday, September 9th from 9:15-11:00 in the Heritage Room for an inspiring 7-week Bible Study. The author, Jennifer Rothschild, has been blind since the age of 15. She truly has learned to "walk by faith, and not by sight."
ALWAYS be PREPARED to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have... (1 Peter 3:15). Are you prepared? Are you convinced that what you believe is really real? Would you like to be able to defend your faith and explain God's intended design in all areas of life: History, Science, Philosophy, Ethics, Church, Community, Family, Government, Arts, Media, Labor...?

Some of the weekly Bible studies have or will be "winding down" for the summer. If your bible study is completed, now may be a good time to try one of the many other Bible studies.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church is hosting an AARP Driver Safety Program for people age 50 and over on April 14 & 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
NO Sunday Morning Bible Study Breakfast February 24.
A new bible study for women will begin on Wednesday, January 16th entitled “Women with Courageous Hearts”.
Dr. Kevin Leman's "Value-Packed Parenting" video series begins Sunday, November 11th, at 9:30 am in the Adult Ed North Room at the school.
