This is the name given a campaign in our Michigan District to raise funds for the following three areas: Mission Planting, Church Worker Scholarships, and International Ministries.
International Ministries: Our church body is attempting to raise $100 million in support of the Ablaze! goal of reaching 100 million people with the Gospel by 2017 (the 500th anniversary of the Reformation). To date, almost half of that goal has been reached from individuals across the United States. The Michigan District has set a goal of $3 million towards the total national goal. Anticipated uses: 9 new missionaries to Africa, 4 to Asia, 5 to Eurasia, 5 to Latin America. Also, funding for schools, seminaries, leadership training centers, rapid response to emergencies and mission opportunities.
