We will be celebrating the 100th Day of school on Thursday, February 9. I would like each child to make something with 100 items or bring in a collection of 100 things. An example of this would be 100 navy beans made in the shape of 100 or 100 bottle caps made in the shape of a smiling face.Your child may bring his/her collection of 100 things anytime during the next two weeks.

Mrs.Laux’s Note
The ground hog saw his shadow yesterday. That means six more weeks of winter. Maybe that means we still have some chance for some snow and outdoor winter fun.
We are half way through Chapter 7 in math. We will learn how to subtract numbers through 12. Continue to practice adding numbers through 12 at home.
This week, I will be away from school on my honeymoon. Mrs. Keinath will be the guest teacher in my classroom. If any problems occur please let her know or I will be returning by Sunday, February 12.
God’s Blessing on your Superbowl weekend.
