SOLAR SYSTEM
Last week, we talked about the solar system. We learned about the planets, stars and our moon. At our art center, we made a model of earth. We also completed our Epiphany windows. For math, we practiced writing our numbers up to 30.
JESUS TIME
Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.
1 Samuel 3:9
During Jesus Time, we heard the story of Jesus going to the temple in Jerusalem. As the family was walking home, Mary noticed that Jesus was not with them. Jesus had stayed at the temple and was speaking with the scholars. Jesus did not disobey his parents by staying. Rather, he was obeying his heavenly Father. He was serving God above all others. We talked about how we can stop-look-and listen for the Lord.
