Happy New Year
Welcome back! I hope that you all are rested and ready for a new year of exciting learning opportunities.
As we begin the New Year, I would like to say thank you for all of your parental support and prayers. The children are doing well and we are excited about learning more new things. You all are doing a wonderful job sending your children ready for learning! Great Job! Please continue to pray for us as we take on new educational challenges.
Thank you all so much for the wonderful Christmas Party and gifts. The children all left with big smiles on their faces. I was overwhelmed with all of the kind words and gifts. I really appreciate the thoughtful tree skirt and Nativity set.
Before the break, we completed our two week study on Christmas. We talked about our needs and wants and read a great story entitled, That’s Not All I Want. At our art center, we made applesauce and cinnamon tree ornaments. For math, we played “Complete the Manger” game. Each player had to roll the dice and gather a piece needed for their own manger scene.
As a surprise, we also had the opportunity to see some of our older sibling perform in the 2nd grade play.

Kindergarten will be visiting the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum on January 20th. Permission slips will be coming home soon. Parents and siblings are welcome to join. Mark your calendars.
