Praying daily for our children is our responsibility and privilege. Over the years, my prayers for my own children got to be quite repetitive for their daily needs. God's Word abounds with prayers, I needed guidance in finding them. I found two sources helpful. Focus on the Family - February 2000 issue gave a monthly calendar of fruit of the spirit, character, virtue traits that I used. For your benefit, they are printed on the Saturdays of my calendar for the year. Another source dear to my praying heart was Praying the Bible for Your Children by David and Heather Kopp. Again, it is a devotional prayer book for our children. Envelope their day with a prayer for God's will in their lives.

Click on the Link for the "Student Interactive Toolbox" or "Summer Activites" link on the side of this page. There is a plethora (great word) of activities to create. Choose from making your own crossword puzzles, biography cubes, to poetry. Try out a few . Be sure to share them with me, Mrs. List, when you get back to school in the fall. I'd love to see your creations. Tell your friends.
